RUNESCAPE GOLD STRATEGY$RSGS · Robinhood Chain

A meme token launched on Pons and paired with GLD. Every trade pays a 5% tax. The tax buys Bonds straight from Jagex, and the Bonds are sold on the Grand Exchange for gp. The gold never leaves the vault.

A meme coin that buys the gp.

Everything in Gielinor is priced in gold. Whips, bonds, party hats, a lobster. The gp is the unit, and it has had a real-world dollar price for twenty years. Runescape Gold Strategy is a token whose only job is to accumulate that gold.

It works like this. $RSGS trades on Pons against GLD with a 5% creator tax. The tax lands in the launch wallet in GLD. On a schedule we spend it the way Jagex intended: we buy Bonds from the official store, bring them in game, and sell them on the Grand Exchange for gp. A Bond costs $9.99 and trades around 11.2M gp. That gold goes in the bank and stays there. Every round is posted with the Bond count, the price each one sold for, and the running total. Nothing is sold back. The reserve only goes one way.

The Bond route matters. Buying gold from a website is real-world trading and it gets accounts banned. Buying a Bond is Jagex's own product, paid to Jagex, sold to a real player who wanted membership. Every gp we bank arrives through the front door, and every Bond we buy is money going to the people who run the game.

Can a token actually move an in-game market? It already happened this week. A separate Robinhood Chain coin spent its money buying Robin hood hats off the Grand Exchange, and the hat went from about 737k gp on 3 September to 10M gp by 7 September. That was one item with a thin order book. We are not chasing hats. We are pointing a steady tax stream at the Bond market and letting the pile grow.

Mod Gold: everything in game is priced in gp.
Mod Gold: so we buy bonds, sell them for gp, and never sell the gp.
Zezima: wtf is a robinhood chain
Mod Gold: sit down, this is going to take a minute

The Reserve · Bank of Gielinor

Runescape Gold Strategy does one thing with its tax: it buys Bonds from Jagex, sells them on the Grand Exchange, and keeps the gp. The vault is the whole product. Here is the loop.

1

You trade $RSGS

On Pons, against GLD. Every buy and sell pays the Pons trading fee plus a 5% creator tax.

2

Fees accrue to the creator

The 5% tax and the creator's share of the trading fee land in the launch wallet, in GLD. That wallet is the reserve's funding source.

3

We buy Bonds from Jagex

The balance is spent in the official store at $9.99 a Bond. The money goes to Jagex, not to a gold site. Receipts posted.

4

Bonds sell for gp, gp is held

Each Bond goes on the Grand Exchange, around 11.2M gp at the moment. The gold goes in the bank and stays there.

Frequently asked questions

What is Runescape Gold Strategy?

A meme token on Robinhood Chain, launched through the Pons launchpad and paired against GLD. Its 5% creator tax is used to buy Bonds from Jagex, which are sold on the Grand Exchange for gp, which is held as a reserve. That is the entire pitch.

Why pair with GLD instead of ETH?

Pons lets creators pick the pairing asset. GLD is a gold-linked asset, and this is a coin about gold. The pair is $RSGS / GLD, so buyers spend GLD, the curve fills in GLD, and creator fees arrive in GLD. Gold in, gold out.

What is the hat thing on the chart?

A separate Robinhood Chain token bought Robin hood hats in game this month and the hat went roughly 13x on the Grand Exchange. It is on this page as evidence that onchain money can move an in-game market. We are not affiliated with it and we are not buying hats.

Isn't buying gold against the rules?

Buying gp from a third-party site is real-world trading, and Jagex bans accounts for it. That is exactly why we don't do it. We buy Bonds from Jagex's own store and sell them on the Grand Exchange, which is what Bonds are for and how they are meant to be traded. The money goes to Jagex, another player gets membership, and the gp arrives legitimately. We are still not Jagex, and rules can change, so read them yourself.

How do I know the reserve is real?

Every round is posted with the store receipt, the number of Bonds, the gp each one sold for and the running total. The vault numbers on this page are updated by hand after each one. If the numbers stop moving, ask why.

How do I buy?

Get some GLD on Robinhood Chain, open the $RSGS page on Pons, set a slippage you can live with, and swap. Spend only what you are completely fine losing. This is a meme coin about a video game currency.

Why Bonds and not just gold sites?

Three reasons. It is allowed, so the reserve account does not get banned. It is verifiable, because a store receipt and a Grand Exchange sale both leave a trail. And it puts real money into the game rather than pulling it out, which is the only version of this idea that makes the gp market better instead of worse.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nothing on this page is investment, legal or tax advice. There is no promise of value, returns, or that the price of anything goes up. Rangers have lost money on hats before.
